PC Tuneup is a registry cleaner that has lots of extra utilities designed for speeding up the computer, repairing pc problems and performing maintenance tasks. It performed very well in testing and has a great reputation, which is not surprising since it’s manufactured by AVG – a quality product.

Ease of Use:
AVG PC Tuneup 2011 is a very well designed program that has a great looking user interface. This is one of easiest programs to use that beginner computer goers or anyone for that matter will ever come across.
It has a one-click scan and repair option that scans your computer for registry errors, junk files, fragmented hard-disk problems and privacy issues.
The one-click scan is great as it displays a real-time report as it scans that lets you know the elapsed time, problems it finds and you can pause it if necessary.
When the scan has finished a report shows the problems found. A breakdown of off errors is available that tells you the severity, number of problems, location and description of the error and allows you to ignore them.
A system advisor tells you how to make your PC better as it gives you advice on issues with your computer.
A resource usage area exists that gives you information on current processes and services running.

Registry cleaner and defragment tool that obviously fixes the registry.
Internet Booster that improves the speed of the internet.
File Recovery and Shredder that permanently delete files or can be used to find deleted files.
Privacy Cleaner used to delete internet temporary settings to reduce chance of your privacy being comprised.
Hard-disk defrag that defags the hard-drive.
Service and Process Manipulator which can be used to find information on each process and service running, disable and enable them and other cool things like check the security rating of a process.
Start-up adjuster, this tool can be used to disable or enable programs opening up when the computer boots.
Uninstall Programs, which can be used to remove programs from the PC.
Disk Explorer and Duplicate File Locater, these tools are used to find files that have duplicates so the duplicate (redundant) copies can be removed and the explorer lets you view the largest files on your computer, the ones that take up the most space.
This program has lots of tools, I know I have missed mentioning a few due to the fact you could spend half a day trying every tool that comes with PC Tuneup.
Conclusion:
AVG PC Tuneup 2011 is one of my all time favorite registry cleaners because it has lots of technical support options; it significantly improved the speed of the test pc, found all registry errors, its feature rich with lots of extra tools, and is really cheap considering the value you get with all the extra tools.
